DEVELOPMENT PROJECT OF THE SPECIALIZED CARE CENTER
PATIENTS VICTIMS OF COVID-19 - ANNEX CENTRAL HOSPITAL 2 "ORCA"
The Specialized Center for the Care of Patients Victims of COVID 19 - Central Hospital Annex 2 "ORCA" (CSPP- HCA 2) is a unit for the care of patients victims of COVID 19, annexed to the Central Hospital of Yaoundé, following the National Response Plan against this disease initiated by the Cameroonian government. Built in the emergency of the pandemic, this site consisted of the transformation and restructuring of a four (04) storey building belonging to the ORCA Supermarket.
With a total capacity of 320 Beds including 30 in Resuscitation and Intensive Care Unit, it also has a unit imaging and sterilization, laboratory, pharmacy, etc. Today it is rightly regarded as the largest and most modern care center in Cameroon, and one of the most important in sub-Saharan Africa.
